Kids Can Cook!

Hey Kids, if you like being in the kitchen or if you've never tried cooking before, have a look at these simple recipes that will be sure to impress your family and friends. Once you're able to make these recipes, you could try making little changes to suit your own taste. (Don't change the baking ones though as there's a bit of science going on there too!) We want you to have fun in the kitchen but there are a few rules you need to know.

Getting ready and reading your recipes

First make sure you have all the ingredients and tools you need for your recipe. If you are using the oven, turn it on and allow it to heat up to the correct temperature before you put in your dish.

Look carefully at your recipe:
1tsp = one teaspoon
1tsbp = one tablespoon
1 g = one gram
1 kg = one kilogram
1 ml = one milliliter
