Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

Who could resist these healthy and delicious choc-banana doughnuts? We love!

Ingredients

2 Dole bananas, mashed
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter (120 ml)
1/2 cup gluten-free flour (120 ml)
1/4 cup cacao powder (60 ml)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 - 2/3 cup almond milk (120-160 ml)

Topping:
vegan dark chocolate chips (melted)
optional: sprinkles or shredded coconut

Method

1. Mix the wet ingredients together
2. Add the dry ingredients and stir until combined
3. Scoop the batter into greased donut pan cavities
4. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees (350 in Fahrenheit) for about 10 minutes
5. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before carefully removing them
6. Finish by dipping the cooled donuts in melted dark chocolate and add some sprinkles or shredded coconut on top
