Caramelised Bananas

Ingredients

2-3 Dole Bananas

2 Tbs Butter

2-3 Tbs Soft Brown sugar

½ Tsp Cinnamon

Method

1. Slice the bananas into circular pieces about half an inch thick.

2. On a low-medium heat, melt the butter in a pan. Once melted down, add the banana slices and gently stir to get an even coat of butter on them. Continue to fry for 1-2 minutes.

3. Once the bananas are a little golden, sprinkle in the soft brown sugar and stir for a further 1-2 minutes.

4. As the caramelisation starts, dust in the cinnamon and mix.

5. Your bananas should be caramelised but if needing a little extra time, stir for a further 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn. Turn off the heat and serve over your dish of choice.
