Peanut Butter Banana Board
Why have a butter board when you can have a peanut butter board? Using our Dole bananas, this recipe is oh so simple, but is sure to wow your friends – if you choose to share that is!
Ingredients
1 x 380gm jar of smooth peanut butter
3 x Dole bananas or 4 Bobby bananas
200 grams of milk chocolate buttons
6 T raspberry jam
100 gm crushed roasted peanuts
To serve:
1 bag of your favourite biscuits
Method
- Using a flat knife, spread out your peanut butter onto a chopping board.
- Using a teaspoon, dollop the raspberry jam in spoonfuls on top of the peanut butter.
- Melt chocolate in the microwave, while reserving some chocolate buttons for decoration. Take chocolate out of the microwave and stir every 20 seconds until it is entirely melted.
- Using a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate across the peanut butter so it is well distributed.
- While the chocolate is still melted, decorate the top with the remaining chocolate buttons and sprinkle roasted peanuts on top.
- Slice Dole bananas into even coins and place alongside the peanut butter.
- Serve with your favourite biscuit for dipping and topping.
